The School opens on the 1st of July 2013, work is on at a feverish pace to complete the new Science Labs, upgrade campus utilities, new AV Room, English Language Lab, new Bus to join the fleet, new Primary Campus is nearing completion and more...
On the 24th the Teachers start work and the term begins for them with workshops conducted by Mrs Brinda Ghosh and Mr Shubhashish Ghosh. The week long workshops focus on teaching English and using Art as a medium to teach the Primary School students.
On the first day of July near 100 new students are scheduled to join the school. This year we are offering one hundred Scholarships. We hope girls will take the benefit of the Scholarship Programme in larger number. Thanks to the John Bissell Scholars Fund for supporting the Scholars at The Fabindia School.
More excitement as the new School Management System goes on-line and www.fabindiaschool.net will help us deliver better. Finally we are happy to welcome new members of Staff and Mr Atul Bhatt who joins us as Manager Training & Development - a new position created to help the school build a better team and partner with institutions to improve education quality.
