                            Principal’s Annual Day Report 16th November 2018
   OVERVIEW 2018
This report was prepared with a reflective spirit looking back on our accomplishments to date, while also sharing recent activity in a variety of key organizational domains.

“The highest education is that which does not merely give us information but makes our life in harmony with all existence.” –Rabindranath Tagore

We worry about what our child will become tomorrow, yet we forget that he is someone today. To celebrate the journey of learning we embraced the My Good School program.

My Good School Program for schools helps empower students by creating an environment for the personal and social development of an individual. By subscribing to our philosophy of quality in education, offering an environment where experiential learning is made possible through activities beyond just study brings to life learning that would otherwise be theoretical and uncoordinated.

The Four S’s (Service, Skill, Sports, and Study) play a great role in our journey of learning.

The first S SERVICE: Service learning is a spin on both community service and project based learning, it’s important for students to understand their important role in a community. Service learning projects can be life changing for students. They learn empathy for others, and may even get the real life experience they need which will inspire them to find a career. Through helping others students may find that they want to go into the human services field or even go more global by joining the Peace Corps.
To develop the Service skills we do; Community Outreach programs
       Organic Farming
       Environment Awareness Rallies

    Cleanliness Drive
    Educating Community
    Green School Audit Program

SKILL: About 90 per cent of employment opportunities require vocational skills. Only 20 percent of our graduates get employed. The rest are unable to get suitable employment due to the lack of employable skills. In general, apart from the core subject expertise, some of the prominent employable skills that employers seek are:

    communication skills (verbal and written)
    attitude towards work
    lifelong learning
    selfmanagement
    teamwork
    problem solving
    selfmotivation
    stress management
    creativity
    technology/IT skills

Integration of skill development into education is essential for skilling to give wings to children. Skill development will remain a dream if carried out in isolation through skill centres alone. It has to be imparted in schools alongside academics hence we conduct:

    Inter House Competitions
    Exhibitions
    Annual Day
    Inter Class Competitions
Bookaroo English Literature Festival was organised at the school
We stood First at the Patriotic Dance Competition organised at the Government High School, Bali
The brilliant young girls Muskan Rathod and Devika Choudhury got an opportunity to experience the Values based leadership programme at The Shri Ram Ananta Aspen Leadership School this summer.
Our students got acknowledgements at the Heritage Girls School, IIMUN
For writing skills, children were exposed to Launchora ‘Creative Skill Development Program’ aimed at helping students to discover and develop their creativity through storytelling. Fifty Eight students published their stories on Launchora.
Our students participated at the Silver Jubilee Commemorative Young Thinkers Conclave 2018 at Mayo Girls School, Ajmer.
Vinita Sirvi got 3rd position in Extempore Competition amongst 24 schools
Divya Chundawat and Muskan Rathod got Best Critic Choice Award in script writing amongst 19 schools
And the new addition to our skill development program is; our students have enrolled themselves for the National Scouts and Guides program.

SPORTS & STUDY: They resemble the two sides of the same coin. If sports education is carried out accompanied with the academic curriculum, the overall personality of the student is increased to quite an extent. The qualities of the leadership, sharing, team spirit and tolerance are learnt from sports. Sports education not only teaches the students to maintain the physical stamina, but also the habit of obedience, discipline,

Opportunities are created to keep children evolved with sports and study by conducting:
Inter House Competitions Inter School Competitions District Competitions State Level Competitions Exchange Programs
Project/ Experimental Study Outdoor Education
Literary Week
Student Led Conferences

Some of the achievements are:
We stood First at the Republic Day Parade at Government High School, Bali.
We participated at the Under 19 District Cricket Tournaments: Icchuk Soni of class XII was selected to represent State Level Cricket Tournament.
Our team participated at the Under 14 District Cricket Tournaments

Athletics teams represented at the Districts
Under 17 Football Tournament; Parikshit of class XI was selected to represent State Level Football Tournament.
U 17 Girls Football Team participated at the Heritage Girls School at the Women's Soccer Tournament
