Fourteen divine items and amrita, the drink of immortality emerged out of the ocean.
Halahala; a deadly poison came out as a by-product and Lord Shiva gained the name of Neelkantha. This story resonates very well with our education system and with our prized educators. An education system which had been yearning for a step up went on a massive churn in the last three months; the churn is still on. Teachers transformed overnight into 21st Century Educators and voyage continues.
Teachers even at the remotest of the locations transformed into tech-savvy Educators. Domestic help disappeared, dusting, mobbing, sweeping became a daily affair, dining out disappeared, elaborate meals, multi-cuisine everything was served at home by the same teacher who learnt the skills of teaching from home. Data ran out of the count, health issues seeped in by countless hours of screen time. The family took them for granted as they had no salaries to contribute. No one has been able to figure out the turmoil the teacher has been going through.
The Halahala poison, which was consumed by Shiva symbolizes suffering and the pain he went through to save the universe. The teachers played a heroic role in this educational transformation with the intent to upscale the learning opportunities provided through Online Classes. The qualities of Lord Shiva reverberate with the qualities of a teacher; their courage to embrace change, compassion for school kids withstanding the chaos at home, willingness to learn and plunge into initiatives ensuring that none are left behind.

Making Thinking Visible
Life as a teacher begins when we realize that we are learners. Learning is a lifelong process which continues until the end. The period of COVID -19 has given ample opportunities to the Educators to enrich themselves in many ways through webinars, workshops, personal development programs and training. This experiential learning has brought a great change in them and also helped them to bring in a transition in their kids too.
Transition in Kids from ‘I can’t do it!’ to be proactive that ‘I can do !’ is necessary. For this it is necessary for students to think why they are stuck and what should they do to get out of this? For this, they need to learn to think about their own thinking. This can only be possible with the proper guidance from elders. Teaching reading to students will help to make thinking visible.
How can students’ thinking be made visible? This can be made visible by reflecting on our thoughts. Reflecting and thinking are a powerful tool which helps a student to overcome obstacles, be more resilient and successful. Educators should organize activities and give a text to them to read. After reading the text the student needs to relate it with any instance similar to it.
Then he needs to think and answer the questions so the best ways to think is by reading, listening, questioning and documenting. This helps a student to make his thinking visible and understand his learning. Some examples of to think visible are field trips, learning through theatre, engaging activities, exploring etc.

Work Integrated Learning
It is a pedagogical practice whereby students come to learn from the integration of
experiences in educational and workplace settings. It basically consists of three steps:
Systematic Training
Structured Work Experience and
Institutional Partnerships.
Systematic Training – The workplace for a person can be the best place to be trained as there he will be exposed to real-life situations and environment, so the learning will be stepwise as he will be trained from a beginner to an expert. It can be difficult to provide these conditions at some other place. E.g. apprenticeship.
Structured Work Experience – This will help in making him familiar with the work during a +2 education program and can be in the form of field experiences, internships or professional practices at the workplace.
Institutional Partnerships – The +2 education should be added to service learning in an institution so that community and service goals can be achieved. Some examples of Work Integrated Learning are - Work-Study, Sandwich Courses, Practicum. Placement, Field Experiences and Internships etc.

नई सोच
दुनिया में सीखाने वालों की कमी नहीं है,बस कमी है तो सीखने वालों की। हर एक इंसान के पास इतना समय भी नहीं है, कि वह प्रयोग करके सीखें लेकिन जो लोग उस क्षेत्र से जुड़े हैं, वो प्रयोग करके सीखतें हैं। और वे अपने इस अनुभव को दूसरों के साथ साझा करतें हैं। इस तरह से ज्ञान लगातार आगे की ओर बढ़ता ही चला जाता है। इसमें सीखने वालों के बजाय सीखाने वालों का ज्ञान ज्यादा बढ़ता है।
इसलिए हर समय दूसरों को सीखाने की कोशिश करते रहना चाहिए। इस कोविद -१९ के दौर में जंहा कुछ लोग अपने घरों में आराम कर रहे थे । वंही दूसरी ओर कुछ लोग इस समय में कुछ नया सोच रहे थे। उन्ही में से एक वर्ग सीखने और सीखाने वालों का आता है। सीखाने वालों ने सेमिनार आयोजित करें और सीखने वालों ने उनमे भाग लिया। उन लोगों में से मैं भी एक हूँ।
सीखने की इस प्रक्रिया में बहुत सी चीजों को हम भूल जातें हैं, लेकिन उनमे से कुछ चीजें ऐंसी भी होती हैं, जो कि हमारे दिमाग में एक अलग सी जगह बना लेती है। उन चीजों में से जिस चीज ने मुझे सोचने के लिए मजबूर कर दिया वो मै आप लोंगो से भी साझा करना चाहता हूँ।
हम लोग गणित में संख्याओं को जोड़ना,घटाना और गुणा दाँयी तरफ से बाँयी तरफ को करते हैं जबकि भाग को बाँयी तरफ से दाँयी तरफ को । यंहा पर मैने भाग को बाँयी ओर से दाँयी ओर को हल करके दिखाया है। मुझे उम्मीद है, कि यह तरीका आप को भी मेरी तरह ही सोचने लिए मजबूर कर देगा।

World Population Day
The World Population Day 2019 is a United Nations' initiative. It is celebrated on the 11th of July every year. This day aims at spreading awareness about the increasing world population and the importance of reproductive health.
It is also the celebration of awareness; one which tries to get people to know and learn about population issues. Population issues include things like family planning, human rights, right to health, the baby's health, gender equality, child marriage, use of contraceptives, sex education, knowledge about the sexually transmitted diseases, etc. Increase in Population should be one of the leading concerns for countries like India and China. World Population Day 2018 observes the theme, "Family planning is a human right." For the first time, this day was celebrated in the year 1989.
The Governing Council of the United Nations' Development Program initiated this due to the population toll in the year 1987. It had already crossed the 5 billion. So the exploding world population had indeed become a serious cause of concern. Therefore, this day was initiated to combat the issue of the growing population and raise awareness among the public about the same. World Population Day, on a vast scale, focuses on the need and importance of controlling the increasing world population.

NATIONAL 7-ELEVEN DAY
Today I would like to share something about NATIONAL 7-ELEVEN DAY because
it is celebrated on 11th July every year. First time 7-Eleven Day was celebrated in 2002. On this day 7-Eleven staff encourages customers to visit their local 7-Eleven shops to enjoy their beverages free. 7-Eleven convenience store was started in 1927 under the name of Southland Ice Company with the logo Totem because people could conveniently "tote em" home their favourite items. After 1947, company expanded its hours from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. and changed its name. To make Ice, 7-Eleven modified their machine made by Knedlik around 1966. They branded and licensed the frozen drink under the name Slurpee.
The day focuses on franchise customers. The chain offers discounts and often free Slurpee in their many flavors. Since July is known for its summer heat, the icy cold beverage is a popular choice for cooling off all summer long. The Slurpee debuted in 1966. While the machine already existed, 7-Eleven modified the machine made by Knedlik, which was used to make the Ice, and then branded and licensed the frozen drink under the name Slurpee. Advertising executive, Bob Stanford, gave the sweet, icy drink the name for the sound it makes as it is sucked through a straw.
The term brain freeze existed before 7-Eleven commandeered it in 1991 to replace ice cream headache or the more technical cold stimulus headache. In 1990, brain freeze was often used as a sports term to refer to athletes who faltered on the field. It also applied to the side effects of medications, especially if they affected our mental capacity. However, immediately after 7-Eleven supposedly redefined the phrase, sports columnists quickly reused the phrase to their benefit. Athletes still had a brain freeze when they made an error, but the columnists cleverly explained the player must have had a Slurpee before taking the field.

UTILIZING TIME
With the rising number of Covid 19 cases in India, the government of India implemented a lock down across the nation to contain the disease. Because all educational institutions have been shut down due to the lock down, students are now left with lots of free time on their hands. But this doesn't mean you sit at home and let the time pass by. There are many ways we can utilize this time productively and gain something out of it. Here are some guidelines for students:

Role of Teachers in the Classroom
The most important role in the lives of students in their classroom is teachers. The
teachers bear the responsibility of educating the children placed in their care. Although they play many other important roles in the classroom, teachers set the classroom tone, add some warmth to the environment, mentors and nurture students minds while being their role model, even listening to their problems and look for any signs of trouble in their learning as well as personal lives. Teachers themselves don't consider a role model, however they are the first role model of any student. While spending time through learning, experimenting and growing with time teachers often plays inspiring roles among children. Teachers do not only teach children but also give them love and care to grow and nurture their minds. Societies and communities highly respect teachers and they become role model for students and parents.

Punctuality
Punctuality is not a skill but an art that is to be developed within those who value ethics. Punctuality refers to the habit of person being completing their task on time . We can say that punctuality is a great habit which all the leaders have in common. This habit help us to achieve success. Punctuality is the key to success. It also makes you a man of habit.This creates a very good impression in front of others.A person who is punctual will always know how to respect time and others as well. When a person becomes punctual everything else falls into place. When a person follows this habit he becomes a nice person in sight of others and is considered as a gentlemen. A punctual person works on time without any hindrance. The people who are employed in armies and navies are given training to become disciplined and punctual. They don't care either it is rain or thunder they care about their punctuality. So like this only we should also be punctual. Specially in students life punctuality matters a lot because this will only lead to the path of success. The person who is not punctual and does not value time can never achieve his goals. So we should be punctual and complete our tasks on time.

Aim
A word which means something that you intend to do or a purpose. The word aim is very small but let me tell you that without aim you yourself are too small to face the world. All humans have one or other aim. The mindset to achieve the goal is different for different person .
Therefore one's aim of life will also be different from others. A student should always have one aim in his life and he should be able to sacrifice and work hard in his life to achieve his aim.

Selflessness
As the word itself reflects its meaning 'Having less for you and more concern of others.' It is a quality hard to be possessed by everyone but once it is acquired the person himself turns to be devotional by his acts of kindness. This quality is rarely featured as it, itself teaches us the act to put forward others before yourself. I feel that everybody may not succeed in understanding the importance of this quality but our teachers do understand it's value. As they themselves possess this quality. They selflessly try to uplift us in every possible way and that is what this quality reflects to. Lastly I would like to conclude with this quote by Ron Kaufman "Selfless acts are a source of profound meaning for yourself and your life.”
