BOOKS
Books are our best friends. We get knowledge by reading books. Books provide a huge variety of information to us. I love reading books. We find different stories with morals in books. We can experience new things by reading books. We can practice questions in books. Reading books makes us wise and intelligent. It is a true partner of our life. We get to know about our history through books. We can know our economic, geographic and cultural activities through books. I read books and it improves my English speaking. Books are our true friends.

Service
Birthday Is  the time to celebrate with friends and family, also it is  the best time to serve the community. Birthdays are special to children, but not everyone can celebrate by participating in parties or gifts. It gives me immense pleasure to help those who are in need on the special occasion of my birthday. Recently I turned 18 years old and in the past, I used to celebrate  my birthday with my family and friends but this year I thought of doing something special. I chose to celebrate my birthday with needy ones and make the day more memorable for me as well as for themselves.

Tinkering
Ultra Sonic sensor works on 2 input output modules. Trigger and Echo. Trigger sends a signal as ultra sonic sound. It hits back to the obstacles and is recaptured by Echo Pin. Arduino then take the response of the sensor and signals to a component attached to it.  We can attach different components to Arduino like LED, Servo Motor, Water Pump Module etc. Ultra Sonic Sensor can be used to design different types Projects like Blink Stick, Obstacle Avoiding Car, Water Dispenser etc.

Chari Dance: Rajasthani Folk Dance
Chari Dance is one of the famous folk dances of Rajasthan. It is performed at marriage celebrations, on the birth of a male child and at celebrations and festivals of goodness. During the Chari dance, colorfully dressed, bejeweled women hold earthenware or brass Chari pots on their heads. Often, the Chari are set on lit Diya (oil lamps) or fire with cotton seeds immersed in oil. Dancers carry a flaming pot on their head without touching it, while performing graceful movements of limbs and deep swirls of knees. To make the dance look more attractive, lines of lighted patterns are created as the dancers move quietly around the floor. This kind of dance requires a lot of practice to perform. We need to be very careful while performing it. My mother helped me to learn this dance. It took four days to practice. I was glad that I could perform it in front of my teachers and my friends. This type of dance connects us to our culture.

Happiness
Happiness seems to be the thing that everyone searches for and desires. These days there are so many different things that can make a person happy. Happiness to me is a sort of inner contentment that deep down. I desire just as much as any other person. The word happiness is a complex one and comes in many definitions for every different person. Happiness is not just a word instead, it is related to one's whole life or feeling. it is difficult to describe happiness in words, it can only be felt.

My Idol: My Father
My Idol is my father. His name is Pradeep Singh Rajpurohit. His father's name is Shankar Singh Rajpurohit and his mother's name is Bhanwari Devi. My father was born on 04 April 1986. My father did his education from a government school and he did his graduation also. My father was really interested in studies from his childhood and as he was interested in studies, he always used to get first rank in the school. Mathematics and Science are his favourite subjects. Now also whenever I face any problem in solving math sums, he helps me out. He wanted to become a Navy officer but because of some issues he was not able to complete his study. That's why today he is where he didn't want to be. But still he is a fabulous businessman.  My father is now a shopkeeper in Ahmedabad. He sells gents wear clothes. Then on 30th April 2006 he got married to the most beautiful woman of my life, my mom, whose name is Suman Kunwar.  06th October 2007, was a really exciting day for my dad because I was about to come into their life. For every girl her father is special and for me too, but there is something different between us is that we both are best friends. Whenever I make any mistake, my mom scolds me but my dad explains it to me calmly. That's the only reason that I love my dad just a little bit more than my mother.

Compassion
Compassion is just an action of kindness towards others that joins the entirety of mankind. Itdoes not need much more effort or huge amounts to spend. There must be a will to listen and find others' circumstances, their problems, feelings, hardships etc. Sometimes our kind words can heal someone, our smiles can satisfy others. Compassion is an urge within us to help others when they are in need. Compassion and cooperation are very important factors among doctors that will lead to a speedy recovery of their patients.  Showing kindness to our fellow creatures is human nature. Love and compassion are the fundamentals of human existence. Compassion is the most impressive power on the planet that can cross the boundaries of caste, religion, nationality etc. This is the thing that prompts people to think about others and help others with a caring nature. The satisfaction that we get from compassionate action is definitely more precious than anything we may surrender simultaneously.
It is so sad to say that in modern life people who are living in cities do not know who are residing nearby. Those people who are living in the same flat are not familiar with each other. They do not know who their neighbors are. There is a lack of communication and personal relationship.  These are the essentials of human life in a society.  Nobody has time to spend with others. Everyone is busy with their own matters.
But there are people who completely dedicated their lives to others. I would like to share a real example of the compassionate action of a person named P.U. Thomas(Thomas Chettan) who is still continuing his service actively for poor people in the native village of Athirampuzha in the district of Kottayam in Kerala. He was born in a poor family. At the age of sixteen, he was admitted to the hospital for surgery. For more than two weeks he was in the general ward of a medical college. The pathetic conditions of suffering poverty and the ill-treatment of patients by the hospital staff struck at him.  He could not forget the reality. He made a strong decision to help needy people. But he was also from a poor family. He was in search of a job. Finally, he got a job in the men’s hostel of Medical College, Kottayam as a mess boy. The miserable conditions of patients were still alive in his mind. He took permission to give the leftover food of the hostel to the patients. He started his service with endless happiness. He could be able to spend some money from his low salary for poor patients to buy medicines. Seeing the heart touching service, some medical students also started to donate money to him. Gradually he approached the nearby hotels for food that remained excess. They all cooperated with him.
His services continued for more than two decades. After that, he was able to register a trust named ‘NAVAJEEVAN’ with the help of some generous people. He was able to provide shelter for mentally disordered patients. Later on, with the help of some voluntary organizations, he was able to get some land property to construct a building to enhance his service. Now it has become the shelter for many orphans, old people, patients etc. The trust is providing many facilities like food, accommodation, blood donation, medical aid etc. His compassionate action is an inspiration for all

On 20th August we celebrated our 29th Founder's Day. On this moment of achievement we extend our heartfelt gratitude to Mr Bissell, his family and friends to envision a center of excellence in the remotest parts of the country. Our gratitude to our Chairman and the dedicated Board Members for their commitment in strengthening the philosophy of affordable, quality education.
Our special gratitude to the founding principal and his/her team to lay down the foundation of learning. Our sincere gratitude to all our former principals, educators and support staff for carrying forward the legacy of learning, sharing and caring. Our warmest gratitude to all our present day educators, support staff, parents, students, alumni and all our well wishers to strengthen the bond of love and affection.
The school was established in 1992 in Bali, Rajasthan by Sir William Bissell and Sir John Bissell. Aim of The Fabindia School was to provide access to high quality education for boys and girls at the rural level using English as the medium of instruction. The school views primary education as a major stepping stone towards social mobility, equality and employment opportunities. The school has been committed to encourage girls' education in a culture where the parents who can afford an English medium school would send only. To realize the dream of providing educational opportunities for girls, the school gives upto 100 scholarships and 70% are for girls alone. One of the most important values imparted is for students to stay connected to their birth places.
An anecdote
We started with a few but now we are many not only in numbers but also in talents and creativity. Congratulations dears for all your efforts and accomplishments!
I remember my first day at The Fabindia School. I was about a foot shorter and scared to walk around the corner. During the years at this school, I have been able to conquer my fears, face my obstacles and break apparent boundaries and all of this has led me to talk to you today. It is time to reflect on the school’s past and those that have helped to shape who we are, and to acknowledge the community members, both past and present, who have influenced the character and values that embody the vibrant, engaging, and safe environment we see today. We honour our Founding Members as we reflect on the commitment, resilience and dedication they displayed to see their vision come to reality. Our heartfelt gratitude to our Founding Members for opening the gates of opportunities, challenges and accomplishments to fulfil our dreams.
Before I sign off, I would like to share a small message with my fellow friends, You may be facing a little hiccup in your education. Face your fear of what is ahead and jump over those hurdles – but also, acknowledge the great education and the opportunity The Fabindia School has given you.
Thank you and have a joyful day!

Gratitude Towards the School
I still remember, when I was in 10th standard and my neighbor's daughters were studying in The Fabindia School. They had their Annual day program, so they asked me and my sister to come to see the program. When I saw the school for the first time, I really liked it because I found something different there. It's structure and students were so amazing. When I was about to complete my graduation, I used to think that if I ever would be a teacher, I would like to teach in The Fabindia School. When I was appointed as a teacher in 2011 after completing my post graduation, it was like a dream came true. I was delighted to be here. It was a little difficult in the beginning, but slowly slowly, I learnt a lot under the guidance of all three Principals and my senior teachers. I have recently completed 10 years in the school. The Fabindia School is more than a school because of it's familiar environment. I really love the natural environment and greenery around the school which is hard to find somewhere else. Here students are given both academic and moral education. I am glad to be a part of The Fabindia family. On the occasion of Founder's Day, I would like to convey my gratitude to all those who made this wonderful school for the kids.

Founder's Day: A memorable Day of the Year
Due to Coronavirus, this year we had a virtual celebration of Founder's Day and this day has become a memorable day of the year. I participated in the program. I performed a dance. I was praised by parents, teachers, students, Principal ma'am etc . Though I can't go to school, so I practiced a lot for my dance and danced in the program. I was excited for the program as it is the day when our school was established and we can show our happiness being a part of this school. Many children participated in the program, it seemed like we were in the school. I really enjoyed it thoroughly. I am glad that our teachers organized this program for us and gave us a chance to show our talent.

*My Good School *
If I could...
Erase all the pain,
Etched on each and every face.
Reach out to all those,
Who are famished to death.
Console all the hearts,
Who are mourning their lost ones.
Kill the helplessness,
Of not meeting each other.
Return all the smiles,
Missing in every face.
And finally,
Open all the closed doors,
Of my beloved learning center ‐ my school.
My school that is my energy drink,
My school that is my power nap,
My school is 'My Good School' .

TYPES OF LEAVES
I collected many leaves from my garden. They all are of different sizes and shapes. Then I pasted them on paper according to ascending order. Then I measured them using a scale. All have different measurements. I collected these leaves from tulsi, rose, lemon, grapes, neem, ashoka, money plant and pomegranate plants. In this way, I came to know about different leaves and am now able to identify these plants.

Compassion
Compassion means having feelings of sympathy or consideration for others. One can feel pain or understand the problems and difficulties of others and help them in whichever way they can help. We do this for the comfort of the person who is unhappy or in pain or difficulty.
The feeling of compassion is there in each and every person. But only few are able to express compassion towards others as they know how it feels to be distressed. On the other hand some are not able to express it as they have no feeling in their heart for others i.e. they are selfish. There are other values connected with compassion like love, care, empathy, kindness, humility, etc. These values help us to stay connected with each other and care for one another. Compassion is an important value which can keep humanity alive. If there is no humanity in us, then the world will become a depressed place and only hatred and war will be left.
As educators and parents we must inculcate this value of compassion in our children by doing small work like helping others, caring for our pets and also stray animals, being polite to elders and giving them time, sharing food with our friends when they have forgotten their lunch box, talking to the person who is sad or unhappy, etc. When children will see their parents and teachers doing these acts of kindness, they will also do the same and thus, compassion will be inculcated in them.

Experience
When my teacher told me to do a short role play of our real hero and a great freedom fighter Chandra Shekhar Azad for the celebration of our 75th Independence Day, I became so excited as he is the true example of freedom and inspiration of millions of Indians. We can never forget his sacrifice for our country. He loved his country more than anything. I was glad to play a short role play of such a great person. I learnt the dialogues and practiced with my teacher through voice calls and video calls. My grandmother and my mother helped me to dress up and to make the video. It was such a wonderful experience for me. We all should remember the sacrifices of our freedom fighters as because of them, we are enjoying our freedom today. We should never do things which harm our country. We must think of how we can make our country more beautiful and a peaceful place to live.

Clay Art
My name is Devanshi Ojha. I study in Second Class. I have made the happy and sad face using colourful clay. I have many colours of clay. First I made a circle and then used a bowl to cut it into the proper shape. Then I used black clay to make eyes and hair. Then I used red clay to make a smile and a sad face. I can make many other toys like cars, dolls, huts, apples or any other fruits and vegetables. I enjoyed doing this activity and by this I have learnt that all the colours are so beautiful and we can use it to make different things.

Hard Work
Hard work is very important in a human's life. The person who is working hard can achieve success and happiness in his life. When a person works hard and gets success in life, then the happiness he gets cannot be compared to anything.
Hard work determines our value in life. Diligence is the weapon of human life on the strength in which he can overcome even the most severe crisis. There is a well-known proverb that says if there is no pain, then there is no gain. Hard work never goes wasted. Man can solve all problems in his life by working hard. No work in the world can be successful or accomplished without hard work. Nothing is easy to achieve in life without doing any work. Therefore, it has been said that hard work is the key to success.

BRAIN
The brain is the most complex and mysterious organ and still, scientists are researching how itworks. The brain is two percent of our whole body weight but it uses approximately 20% energy of our body. As our body is made up of cells the brain is also made up of neurons which are also called brain cells, and approximately three billion euros collectively form our brain. If you talk about the structure of a neuron it has different parts like dendrites, axon, and terminal bottom where dendrite is a hair-like structure. The axon is the middle part of the neuron and the terminal bottom is the tail. Whenever we see something, listen to something or feel something, our senses organs since electrical signals to our brains through these neurons only and the brain interprets this information.
I'm green, which is divided into two parts: left and right. Whenever we do something with our left side, it is right green work and whenever we do any work with our right side or left brain is working again. The brain is divided into three parts, which are four brain midbrain and hindbrain. The brain constitutes the cerebrum which is the biggest part of our brain and approaches 70% of our brain. In this part maximum foods are there and it decides our thinking power and behavior. It also controls the contraction and relaxation of our muscles. Another part is telecasters and the hypothalamus which gives us information about temperature and the hypothalamus which controls our feelings.
Green consists of two parts which are tectum and taguanum. These parts receive information from the outer area and send it to the cerebrum.
The hindbrain consists of three parts, the medulla oblongata cerebellum, and pons where the cerebellum controls the balance of our body and the medulla oblongata controls involuntary actions like a breeding heartbeat, etc.

Mother's Job is a Selfless Job

My mother's name is Manju Parihar. She is 38 years old. She is a housewife. My mother cooks delicious food. My mother's hobbies are stitching clothes and watching TV. She likes to  eat sweets. She always helps me with my homework and always takes care of me. I love my mother so much she always wakes up at 5 o'clock to make all the things ready for us.  She is the most beautiful woman in the world. She fulfills all her responsibility without making any complaints. She takes care of her three children very well. She never gets tired or bored of cooking for her children. She always does the things which make us happy. Mother is the person who changes a house into a home. Mother's love never changes for her sons or daughters whether they are children or adults. She manages our home very well and looks after every member of my family. I love mom very much and I know she loves me the most.

DO SOMETHING CREATIVE EVERY DAY
Art and craft are the creations that we do with our hands. Art and craft are excellent hobbies. We can express our creativity and enjoy the pleasure of expressing our inner thoughts and feelings. We feel so happy and content when someone appreciates our art and craft work. Every person cannot become a good artist or craftsman. Often they are born with talent. "Every artist is first an amateur", said Ralph Emerson. Their talents have to be nurtured and improved. Art and craft are appreciated by everyone in the society. They are so beautiful to look at. Artistic paintings and articles are purchased in exhibitions at high prices. Crafts are displayed in the front room of a house or hotels and are also placed on the office tables. Developing skills in art and craft is very good and useful. Children learn creative and imaginative skills by these activities. The government of India encourages art and craft. There is a showroom for them in every city for tourists and visitors. Often a fair is organized to display new artistic items and crafts in every city. Ancient India has a rich tradition of art and craft. There are many training camps during summer and winter on art and craft skills. It is very useful to join them. It will start a new angle in our career. Picasso said, "Every child is an artist. The problem is how to remain an artist when we grow up".

Experience
I was very excited to  participate in the Shlok  Competition. I was very happy because it was the first time I was participating in a  Sanskrit Shlok Competition. I  recited two shlokas and explained its meaning in Hindi. Reciting shlokas improves our pronunciation and develops interest in Sanskrit. It is our ancient language which has a treasure of knowledge as many of our Granthas like are written in Sanskrit.

Sports
I am Abhay Raj Singh, Sports Coach at The Fabindia School. During this pandemic time, the students lost the touch of going out but we did not stop our fitness journey. We organise fitness classes for the students thrice in a week in which the students participate enthusiastically. Altogether we do exercises, body stretching and yoga asanas. The experience was really very good. We are all connected and together in taking care of our bodies and keeping our minds healthy. Stretching exercises help improve flexibility, allowing muscles and joints to bend and move easily through their full range of motion. Physical strength is built through exercise and being strong has tons of benefits to a growing child, such as being able to walk longer distances without getting tired and having the strength to perform their daily tasks. Exercise also promotes flexibility and stability.

 My Sweet Home 🏡

At my sweet home, I have a beautiful bedroom, a study room and a beautiful living room. In my bedroom  I have a pink bed. In front of my home, there are two big trees. A beautiful kitchen is there in my home. Home is a place where we feel safe and secure. It doesn't matter whether you have a small or big house, you just love it. Having a place where you live becomes a home. Though, It is made of bricks, cement, sand, stones etc but when we live in it with our family, it seems like the whole world to us. We connect our home with our emotions and it helps us to create memories. Where we go, we feel relaxed at our home only. I love my sweet home.

Ayasha Tak/Educator
