National Consumer Day
The National Consumer Day or Bharatiya Grahak Diwas is celebrated every year on December 24 to spread awareness about consumer rights and the power of a consumer. In India, to keep the integrity of consumers and protect them from malpractices, a set of rights is conferred to every citizen under the Consumer Protection Act. In 1986, the Consumer Protection Bill was passed by both the Houses of Parliament. The bill received the assent of the President on December 24, 1986, and came into force. Thus, to commemorate the importance of the day, December 24 is marked as National Consumer Day.
The Consumer Protection Act gives provisions for easy and fast compensation for consumer grievances. It safeguards and encourages consumers to raise their voices against insufficiency and flaws in goods and services. The act outlines six consumer rights that all Indian citizens have, and it further mentions five responsibilities that every consumer should fulfill.

Freedom Fighters
Most importantly freedom fighters inspire and motivate others to fight injustice. They are the pillars behind the freedom movement. They made people aware of their rights and their power. It is all because of the freedom fighters that we prospered into a free country free from any kind of colonizers or injustice.
Freedom fighters were those great personalities who consecrated their lives for the cause of the attainment of freedom from the colonization of the British. They made many sacrifices we cannot just imagine the amount of pain, hardship rests, and opposition they must have gone through or faced in rallying the Indians against the Britisher, and how wonderfully versatile, and talented they were. The list of freedom fighters in India is endless. Many of them are known while many more are unknown. The ones belonging to the latter category gave their everything to their motherland quietly.

A Life, Less Ordinary
We sat around the campfire in silence, nobody wanting to bring up our predicament. Everything was going to have to come out anyway, we might as well it over with. I was just about to clear my throat when I noticed Sam and Laylor standing apart from the group whispering. I think they were not interested in such group discussions. They both were army officers and I had heard that army people have lots of experience in their training and posting. I just got two cups of coffee and went to talk to them. To my surprise, they approached me with wide smiles. Sipping the coffee we started to talk about daily chaos and suddenly Sam received a phone call that his posting had been changed to J.&K. They were both Assamese boys who were just 23 years old. I invited them to join our discussion and after that our whispering discussion got connected into loud laughs.
Taylor told that his training period was the best part of his life. Were all eight people joining the discussion, everyone having different passions and different circumstances? I asked Sam if he was not scared to be posted in J.&K. He replied casually that if he would be a coward no one would have chosen him in the army. "We are not afraid to die." That day I realized that it needs the courage to be a soldier. I am working in a firm where I can leave if my workload increases, my friend Jasprit, a businessman is always in a worry that his business may get down. But these men in Olive Green are always comfortable with everything, they live their present and enjoy every bit of their life. After an hour I asked them, why they were standing alone. Taylor replied that they were planning their skydive which is to be held tomorrow at a height of 10,000 feet. All of us were amazed and asked how could you be such casual in saying 10,000 feet. Sam said that it is the power of an Olive Uniform.

Universal Health Coverage Day
Universal health coverage day is celebrated on 12 December every year. UHC is promoted as an instrument to help advance the more broadly conceived human right to health, which is based upon several international agreements, or widely affirmed international documents.
Universal health coverage has been included in the new Sustainable Development Goals for 2015-2030, adopted by the United Nations. In many nations, inclusive healthcare is very rudimentary and does not include heroic interventions or long-term care. WaterAid reports that national infrastructure in many nations cannot support first-world healthcare delivery mechanisms because it may not even provide potable water, let alone electricity.

National Energy Conservation
"LET'S NURTURE NATURE SO THAT WE CAN HAVE A BETTER FUTURE."
Every year, India observes National Energy Conservation on December 14. The day is organized by the Bureau of Energy Efficiency (BEE) – which operates to present India’s stellar achievements in cost-efficient energy production and resource conservation.
The Ministry of Power, Government of India, launched the national energy conservation award in 1991 to recognize the contribution of industries and establishments in reducing energy consumption while maintaining their production through awards. Essentially, the main objective of the day is to reduce the use of energy and to encourage people to use it efficiently. National Energy Conservation Day aims to generate awareness among the masses in India about the importance of saving energy. People are also kept in the loop on new courses of action and plans that are being formulated. Information is given on minimizing energy waste and how the public can do their part in conserving resources.
Energy Conservation Day is a reminder that we can no longer go easy without our energy sources and must conserve them. Energy saved is energy earned. Let us work towards a sustainable world by embracing renewable energy.

My Hobby
My Hobby is dancing. I have liked dancing since my childhood. I learned to dance from my mother. She also likes to dance and she also participates in dance competitions. It is my hobby and I want to make it my profession too. My mother and my family also agree with me. It doesn't matter if I am happy or sad but I love to dance any time. I want to explore this field and I want to become a great dancer. I want to participate in dance competitions to enhance my dancing skill and make all moves smooth and perfect. When I dance, all my stress goes away. This is the art that I love from the bottom of my heart. It satisfies my mind and soul too. There are various dance types
like — classical dance, contemporary dance, ballet dance, Tap dance, Hip - Hop dance, and more. I like Hip - Hop dance and Classical dance.  I am always keen to learn new steps and moves of Hip - Hop dance. I wish I could become a good choreographer and I could have a better future in the field of dancing.
