On 25 February the students of Class XI organised farewell party for the outgoing students of Class XII. Staff and students wished them good luck for their future endeavours by singing songs, dancing, and with motivational speeches. The theme they worked around was, "Every Ending has a new beginning”, they organised fun games, created selfie corners and treated everyone with delicious dinner.

CBSE Science Challenge –2021-22
“Science is inexplicably linked with our lives and helps us to understand the world around us better. Scientific and technological developments contribute to progress and help improve our standards of living. By engaging with this subject, students learn to think, solve problems and make informed decisions. As an initiative to generate curiosity, inquiry, and higher-order thinking amongst the learners, the Board is organizing the CBSE Science Challenge for students of classes 8th to 10th.” A total number of 26 students have been registered for CBSE Science Challenge –2021-22 from our school as a response to the above CBSE circular. After registration, we attended the training followed by a quiz. Now we are able to download our participation certificates. It was very exciting for me to participate in the CBSE Science challenge. I have learned many new things in chemistry as well as in physics also. I would like to participate in more such competitions. This quiz proved to be very educational and informative for the students. And I thank my school to appreciate the students participating in these types of activities.

Influence of Experiments
In this present week, we had Science lessons in the physics lab. We have done very interesting experiments like, to find the density of any substance, the law of conservation of mass, etc. Before doing these all experiments I had no idea about density. After doing experiments it became very clear for me to explain density and I am able to find the density of any object. Now I understood that density is the ratio of mass to volume. Another experiment that we have done is related to the law of conservation of mass. From this experiment, I understood that in a chemical reaction mass of the will remain unchanged before and after the reaction.

My Take
Science is hugely responsible for the development and modernization of our society. Science is the systematic way of learning to. Science affects the world in many different ways. With the technologies that have been discovered we can now tell how warm or cold it will be for the next week, we will know when a tornado, eruption or any other sorts of natural disasters will occur before they actually happen. Basic knowledge of science is mandatory for everyone as it makes life easier and opens our mind in many ways. We did some experiments related to density .It is one of an important concept of science. It is an important concept of science because it allows us to determine what substances will float and what substances will sink when placed in any liquid. Density is calculated as the mass of an object divided by its volume (d=m/v).We learnt that pure substances have definite densities. We also learnt that purity of an object can be checked by finding it's density. Science is an essential part of our life. It made our life easy and brought technology up.

A Learning experience to the school Forest
I went to forest this week with my classmates and Science Teacher. I saw so many types of plants like herbs, shrubs, trees, creepers and climbers. There were many species of plants, and many of them were those which I have never seen before, I observed the soil of the forest it was dark and that contains many nutrients. I compared this soil with field soil which was not that much darker in colour. Nutrient content was very less and it is because of the use of fertilizers in field. In the forest there were only dead leaves and twigs fallen on the ground which make that soil more fertile than field soil. At last we went to a pond it was full of algae and many other microorganisms. We collected some algae and taken to the lab to observe it under a microscope to find how these organisms look under microscope. It was really enjoyable and I have never seen such kind of microorganisms under a microscope. It was really interesting and exciting for me.

Detection of Functional group
The functional group in an organic compound is the part of the molecule that undergoes a structural change during a chemical reaction. It also influences the solubility of the compound in water or in organic solvents. Certain chemical tests will allow the identification of a specific functional group in a compound. The functional groups that will be analyzed in this experiment are alcohols, phenols, aldehydes, ketones, carboxylic acids, and amines.
In this experiment, we determined the solubility of different organic compounds in water, dilute acid, or dilute base. This solubility can provide information on what functional group is present or whether the compound has a high or low formula mass. We will perform chemical tests for known organic compounds to suggest the presence or determine the absence of a specific functional group in the compound. These results of both solubility and functional group tests can be used to generate experimental data that will help to identify an unknown sample.

लता मंगेशकर
लता मंगेशकर भारत की सबसे प्रसिद्ध गायिका थी। जिन्होंने कई फिल्मी और गैरफिल्मी यादगार गीत गाए हैं। लता जी ने हजार से भी ज्यादा हिन्दी फिल्मों में गीत गाए हैं,वो अनेक भाषाओं में हैं। लता मंगेशकर का जन्म 28 सितम्बर 1929 को इन्दौर में हुआ जो कि अब मध्यप्रदेश में स्थित है।वे पंडित दीनानाथ मंगेशकर और शेवंती की बड़ी बेटी थी।लता के पिता पंडित दीनानाथ मंगेशकर एक मराठी संगीतकार, शास्त्रीय गायक और थिएटर एक्टर थे।1942 में लता जी ने अपना पहला गाना गाया। उसी समय भारत वासियों को उनकी आवाज सुनने का प्रथम मौका मिला।1945 में लता मंगेशकर मुंबई शिफ्ट हो गईं और इसके बाद उनका करियर आकार लेने लगा।1948 में लता जी ने अपना सबसे हिट गाना गाया था "दिल मेरा तोड़ा, मुझे कहीं ना छोड़ा"। उसके बाद वह प्रसिद्ध गायिका के रूप में मानी जाने लगी।माना जाता है की लगभग 5 से 6 हजार गीत उन्होंने गाए हैं। भारत सरकार द्वारा उन्हें1969- पद्म भूषण, 1989- दादा साहेब फाल्के पुरस्कार,1999- पद्म विभूषण ,तथा 2001- भारत रत्न पुरस्कार से सम्मानित किया गया। उन्हें अनेक फिल्मफेयर अवार्ड्स , महाराष्ट्र तथा बंगाल राज्य में भी अनेक फिल्म पुरस्कार मिले हैं। भारत रत्न लता मंगेशकर का नाम भारत में लगभग छः दशकों तक प्रत्येक भारतीय वासियों के हृदय में रहा तथा अब हमेशा रहेगा।इनका नाम प्रत्येक आयुवर्ग जानता था। 6 फरवरी 2022 को मुंबई स्थित ब्रीच कैंडी अस्पताल में इन स्वर कोकिला लता मंगेशकर को हमने हमेशा के लिए खो दिया जिनका दुख हमें हमेशा रहेगा ।जो हमारे हृदय में हमेशा रहेंगी। कल्पना इंदा / Vl

My favourite bird is peacock. It is our national bird. It is a blue and green coloured bird. They have long feathers. It's feathers are blue, green, and golden. A Visit to Our School Forest
In our school Science week is going on and our teacher took us to visit the forest which is behind the stage. We saw many trees there. It was very big and there was a pond also which was dried. When it will rain there will be water in it. Forests are the most important part of our ecosystem. It is a very large wild area which grows naturally. It is the beautiful creation of nature. Life is a journey, not a race
Life is not that something that which people think to be ,it is not only about adjustments and competition or race for success only. Life is a journey which has immense adventures and twist and turns we have to face it but it is not only twist and turns it is and experience for rest of life. In life every situation teaches us a lesson not to lose ourselves but to be stronger more. In today's busy life we think that life is very complicated and it is but our positive view towards it will turn life to an amazing part. People keeps on racing with each other for something to win it is good but thinking it to be a race is not right it is journey which we are going through with a positive vibe. Life is always not about adjustments it is something which we have to enjoy and create a peaceful and fresh aura for us .People keep their life stored but they need to explore the world and life which they have to feel. Life is full on us that how we how to handle it in a exploring way or in a compressed way. Today people keep on running behind their work ,success and forget to give their time for themselves they must understand that life is given once we have to live for own self. ध्यान : एक सहज मार्ग
ध्यान शब्द से मेरा तात्पर्य , किसी वस्तु या अन्य जीवों को एक टक घुरना या निहारना नहीं है | ध्यान से मेरा तात्पर्य उस साधन से है , जिसके द्वारा हम अपने भीतर की उर्जा तथा आत्मा से भेंट कर सकते है | यह बात सिर्फ भेट करने की नहीं है , ध्यान में उर्जा एवं शक्ति होती है , जिससे हम एक क्षण में पूरे ब्रह्माण्ड को निहार सकते है | यह एकमात्र ऐसा साधन है , जिसके द्वारा हम ईश्वर से वार्तालाप कर सकते है | हम आज जिन्हें परमात्मा के रूप में जानते है , किसी वर्ष में उन्होंने भी ध्यान को ही अपना साधन बनाया था , जिसके द्वारा उन्हें इतनी बडी उपलब्धि प्राप्त हुई| ध्यान करने से हमारा तनाव , आलस , थकान सब दूर हो जाता है और हमें नई प्राकृतिक उर्जा प्राप्त होती है जो हमें तरो ताज़ा कर देती है | इसलिए मेरा मानना है कि हमें , अपने व्यस्ततम समय में से समय निकाल कर , चाहे कुछ समय के लिए ही सही , परंतु 'ध्यान' अवश्य करना चाहिए ।| धन्यवाद!
