Poster Making Competition
The School went to the Government School to participate in the Poster Making Competition. There were almost fifteen students and two teachers with us. There were many students from other schools who participated in the competition such as Aai Mata School, Vivek School, etc. The students made beautiful drawings but I liked the drawings which were made by Mithanshu Paliwal and Sanket Solanki. That was a memorable competition in which I participated. In Rangoli Competition our school bagged the first position and in Poster Making we stood second.

Pre-Primary : Learning Sessions

Importance of  Art
Nowadays, Art is taught in every school to develop students’ strength to explore their emotions, opinions, and ideas through a required medium. Paintings and sculptures are popular forms of Art. Art is an expression of the reality of your core. If you can see the unique side of a situation that can’t be seen by the majority, you are an Artist. Art should be taught to every student to know another side of life.
Art is not only doing sketches and paintings but also managing our lives and making our surroundings beautiful by documenting that particular moment. Knowing Art is about creating a separate room in your mind. For example, ancient people used to live outside without homes; even now, only four walls and a ceiling are enough to protect themselves. Still, your mind will not be satisfied only by that, and you will need more unnecessary things to make the room beautiful because it’s a matter of your feelings.
Instead of four walls, you desire a beautiful architectural form and arranged environments around you. Documenting the moments through Art reminds us about our human revolutions so far. When studying Art or observing an object, you are trying to connect that particular object, feeling and knowing better about something or someone else. At that right moment, you may find a different meaning or perspective. That perspective is your contribution. So, Art helps build a relationship with everything around them, even with a single insect, and an artist can respect all their existence. That’s why an Art guru always seems to suggest observing things. Here drawing is the best form of keeping something in detail.
Art is a practice of seeing life uniquely, and students may explore the bright side of negative things in life in terms of their career, visuals, feelings, opinion, and many more. That’s why the mother of Art is combined with expressions like singing, painting, dancing, writing, performance, etc. At this moment, if the page of Art is wiped out from your life, your life will go blank because whatever you are wearing, how you are behaving, whatever you are talking about, or making your life very simple & intelligent are the fundamental fragments of Art. Think once why only a particular thing is extraordinary for you, although plenty of similar items are available. If you can understand Art, that means you’re a devotee, or if you create Art, you are unique. Like we can feel a song profoundly but can’t sing. So, for the students, Art makes them realize how important their feelings are in the present time.
I have a task for you if you accept. Have you ever wondered why there is only something that you like in the universe without reason? Everyone loves flowers, even you also. If I ask you why do you love that? Why is it beautiful? Tell me the exact reason for the beauty of that flower. “I just like it” is not the answer. Go near a beautiful flower, observe it along with your copy, and start writing about its beauty–it’s not a simple task. I’m sure your mind will go blank. You may feel it but it's hard to express. It will be a unique achievement if you try and can write a few lines. That’s the supreme achievement in Art, as you deeply feel something and can make someone feel the same in the same density is a big challenge for an artist. This is how your mind is getting to be mastered.
Sometimes I am amazed by how ancient people struggled to document Art forms in caves in 40,000 BC. Today’s yield of success is derived from them. They were unique. If you start a journey of Art History towards prehistoric, you will be mesmerized at every turn. “Without our past, there is no future”.
ART: Art is an expression of values or emotions and the connection between qualities of a relationship (it could be anything), creating a form of whatever you think of.

Triumph of Friendship
We sat around the campfire in silence, nobody wanted to bring up our predicament. Everything was going to come out anyway, we might as well get it over with. I was just about to clear my throat when I noticed Sam and Layla standing apart from the group whispering. I tip-toed towards them and started listening to what Sam said. I was shocked to hear about Sam's problem. He had a big amount of loan pending and he had no money to pay for it. I felt really bad for him and went back to the campfire. I told the group members about Sam's tragedy and they all agreed to pay some money for the collection. Sam and Layla came back to the campfire and sat there. I saw Sam upset so I thought to lighten up his mood. I jokingly threw a spider at him but instead of laughing, Sam got up and slapped me in the face. I was astonished and sat back. Sam suddenly realized what he did and felt regretful. After some days, I went to Sam's house to give him the collected money for the loan. I rang his doorbell, and Sam came and opened the door. He was not looking so happy. I hugged him to give him some comfort. We went to his room and I gave him the collected money. His eyes glistened with tears and he started crying happy tears. After some time, he calmed down and apologized to me for that day. I smiled and forgave him as we were friends.
Moral
1. Be kind to everyone even when they are not.
2. We should not act before thinking.

Sweet Memories
Mohd. Anas
RP: What were the thoughts that came to your mind at the time of the accident that took place with you on August 15th?
MAS: It was just a matter of 5 to 10 seconds. The thought that came to my mind was that, at first, I was scared, but then I calmed myself down, took the torch of fire, and started moving. If I would throw it to the left or right, on one side there were people, and on the other side, there were my juniors. I couldn’t hurt 9 to 10 people. So it was just a decision of 2 seconds,  I let my hand burn instead of hurting so many people. I can’t express the pain I was in, but it was nothing compared to the love Fabindia gave me.
RP: What positive message would you like to give to the Fabindians?
MAS: As a Fabindian, opportunities have already snatched you; seize all of them and move forward, because the human body has no foundation. One person can't do many things at the same time, but he can do many things at different times.

Giriraj Singh
RP: As the coordinator of the weekly, what are the difficulties that you have faced and the new things you have learned?
GSH: As the coordinator, I haven't faced any kind of difficulty because I had the support of my teachers and my team. This post brought many optimistic impacts on me as a person. Most importantly, it inculcated skills like critical thinking and communication skills in me.
RP: One positive message for your school.
GSH: The school has provided lots of opportunities to me and has helped me to be a better version of myself.

Seema Choudhary
RP: Some best things about your school.
SCY: In this school teachers are excellent. Lots of opportunities have made me more confident.  I want to add that my friends make me laugh and I can’t express the bond with them. I have no words to share more about this school.
RP: One message for your school?
SCY: I want to say you don't need fame to become anything you just need confidence and qualities which is possible by the opportunities that we get in this school.

Sayed Ishan
RP: What are the new things you saw in Fabindia rather than in other places?
SIN: I have been studying at The Fabindia School for two years. I have learned and known a lot in these two years. Most of all, I like the harmony and bond between teachers and students in the school, you can share any of your problems with them frankly. Every child here has a wild enthusiasm for everything. Every child is ready to participate in every competition. Compared with other schools, Fabindia School is where you can get everything. Here you get a chance to go ahead in each field. The school staff is very supportive and is always ready to respond to every child. The Fabindia School is the best in the world.
RP: One positive message for your school.
SIN: It doesn't matter whether we have the opportunity or not, we should participate in everything and move forward because my school is the only place where success comes before work.

Importance of Education
Education is an essential part of life and it covers a very broad area of knowledge. We can also call education a process of gaining knowledge The only difference between apes and humans were, they were not educated and we are educated and well-mannered.
Education not only develops academic performance but is also helpful in other curricular activities. We learn to read, write, speak, learn various skills, and practice other activities, all are various types of education. You can learn from anyone, an ant also can be your teacher which teaches us to try until we achieve success. We cannot imagine life without an education. Therefore, keep learning and educating yourself.

The School Weekly 16th January 2023

Biding Farewell to the Batch of 2022-23

Goodbyes are not the end they simply mean "we'll miss you until we meet again"
School is the second home for the students and students are the heartbeat of the school. The Fabindia school bid a fond farewell to the outgoing batch of 2022-23.
It was organized by the juniors(class 11), teaching, and non-teaching staff. After a week-long preparation, we were all set for the program. By the morning itself, we were all busy with stage decorations and photobooth preparations.
At a sharp 5'o clock, the event commenced with the ribbon cutting ceremony by our seniors and principal ma'am. We started by calling our seniors on stage for a token of love. A performance by the dancers of class 11 pepped up the mood. Next, it was time for assigning the titles, which is perhaps the most exciting part of every farewell. The title of Mr.Fabindia was given to Sayed Ishan and Miss. Fabindia to Diya Suthar. Followed by a nostalgic speech by Laxman Parmar of XII-humanities. Jaywardhan of class XI-maths presented a video depicting the long and rich journey of class 12th. We had a great DJ party at last. The program ended with a delicious supper. We wished our seniors good luck in their future endeavors and with great nostalgia, we said goodbye!  and left for home.
There was a night stay and bonfire organized for class 12th so they stayed in school and enjoyed the moments with their friends and teachers.

Sweet Memories
Priyanka Deora
RP: Who was your biggest competitor?
PDA: My biggest competitor I thought is myself because I believe that you should be best in what you are best at.
RP: One message you want to give to the Fabindians.
PDA: Always believe in yourself and get better every day, improve yourself every day.

Jatin Tripash
RP: What were your game-changer moments in your school life?
JTH: I strongly believe that My becoming the Vice Head Boy of the school was a game-changer moment in my school life because it taught me leadership qualities. I got to know the different perspectives of school life which helped me in decision-making. For me, it was a game-changing movement because it made me feel like I am worth something.
RP: One message or advice for the Fabindians.
JTH: My message for all the Fabindians out there is that keep doing what you love to do. Don't bother about the results, maybe someday you end up somewhere big. Make mistakes, and make lots of them. That’s right - make mistakes. This is the only time you can afford to make mistakes and learn from them without much cost. Lastly "Carpediem" means seize the day.

Rajveer Singh
RP: What was the best reward for your school life?
RSH: The best reward of my school life was becoming the Head Boy of the school. Honestly, I didn't expect that so it was an even more special moment for me which made me believe that I am worth something and I have all the qualities of being a leader.
RP: As a Head Boy of the school what are the struggles you have faced in the last year?
RSH: As a Head Boy I have faced many little problems but the main one was choosing honesty over friendship. Sometimes the decisions of the head boy were against the will of my friends and they found me strict with myself. So keeping the balance between friendship and leadership was the main task.
RP: After being the head boy of the school, what was the message that you want to share with all the Fabindians.
RSH: Being a head boy I want to say that everyone has the potential to do something big. Everyone is different from each other which is what makes them unique in their way. I want to say that grab each opportunity that comes your way because you never where you end up in the future.

Kanak Gehlot

I want to thank Rahul sir because he worked so much on my basketball skills, giving me cricket training and practice for athletic events.
RP: One message for the Fabindians.
ART: Always work on your personality and stay motivated.
