Saturday Activities 

On 5th August 2023, Saturday, students of Class II to V performed so many fun activities. They had a memorable time watching the movie with their friends. There were some heartfelt, poignant moments and plenty of laughs. The movie showcased the family's love and respect. After in the classroom, they learned daily basic needs which they have to know, like tying shoe laces. While doing this activity, encouraged students to practice in pairs, allowing them to support each other and learn collaboratively. Then, the teacher showed students a step-by-step demonstration of how to tie their laces. After that, they explained the awareness of maintaining proper self-hygiene and classroom hygiene, like before eating food and washing your hands. During lunchtime, they learned how to eat food properly and how to clean their desk by keeping cloth under their lunch box. It was a fun-filled day with a great learning experience for them.

साप्ताहिकी 

दिनांक 31 जुलाई से 5 अगस्त तक हमारे विद्यालय में सत्र 2023-24 के लिए सतत् शैक्षणिक मूल्याकंन योजना के अनुसार इकाई-परख - ll का आयोजन किया जिसमें विद्यार्थियों ने सराहनीय अनुशासन और धैर्य का परिचय दिया। इकाई-परख के समापन के साथ 5 अगस्त को "अष्टादश श्लोकी गीता" के पाठ एवं इसके व्याख्यान सत्र में विद्यार्थियों ने जीवन उपयोगी नीति ज्ञान के अमृत का रसास्वादन किया।

दिनांक 22 जुलाई 2022 को आयोजित की गयी "इण्टरहाऊस पौराणिक ज्ञान प्रश्नोत्तर प्रतियोगिता" के अन्तिम सत्र का आयोजन 5 अगस्त को किया गया। इस गतिविधि के आयोजन के उद्देश्य एवं हमारे जीवन में संस्कृति ज्ञान के महत्व  के बारे में भी विद्यार्थियों को बताया गया। इसमें फिर से विद्यार्थियों में बड़ा उत्साह और रुचि देखी गई। विद्यार्थियों ने शांति और जिज्ञासा से लघुकथाओं के ज्ञान एवं आनन्द के साथ-साथ इस प्रतियोगिता से ज्ञानार्जन भी किया। इसका परिणाम इस प्रकार रहा- प्रथम स्थान-गांधी हाउस, द्वितीय स्थान-रमन हाउस और तृतीय स्थान-ध्यानचंद हाउस ने प्राप्त किया।

Session on EVM

On Saturday, we had a session on EVM (Electronic Voting Machine). Two government employees from Bali Panchayat Samiti came to our school and elaborated on the importance of voting and how to use EVM. They shared how each individual voter forms the government. We should be mindful while casting the vote. Voting is an expression of our commitment to ourselves.

मेरी कक्षा

मैं कक्षा 3 की छात्रा हूंँ। मेरी कक्षा में बीस बच्चे हैं। इसमें एक दरवाजा और चार खिड़कियाँ है। कक्षा में मेज और कुर्सियाँ लगी हुई है। कुर्सियों पर विद्यार्थी बैठते हैं एवं मैज पर अपनी किताबें रखते हैं। कक्षा की दीवारों पर प्रदर्शन एवं सूचना पट्ट लगे हैं और सुंदर चित्र बने हैं। सामने की दीवार पर एक वाइट बोर्ड लगा हुआ है जिस पर लिख-लिखकर अध्यापिकाएँ हमें समझाती है। हमारी अध्यापिकाएँ हमें बहुत विनम्रता और प्रेम से पढ़ाती है। कक्षा में तीन अलमारीयाँ भी है। मेरी कक्षा साफ-सुथरी और हवादार है। कक्षा में बैठकर हम लोग कईं अच्छी-अच्छी बातें सीखते हैं। मेरी कक्षा मुझे बहुत अच्छी लगती है। मेरी कक्षा के बाहर बहुत सारी हरियाली है। मुझे यहाँ मेरे घर जैसा वातावरण महसूस होता है।

मेरे सपनों का भारत

मुझे गर्व है कि मेरा जन्म एक ऐसे देश में हुआ है जो कभी 'सोने की चिड़िया' और 'विश्व गुरु' कहलाता था। दुर्भाग्य से लंबे समय तक हमारा महान भारतदेश विदेशी ताकतो के आक्रमण झेलता रहा। उन विदेशी लालची लोगों ने भारत की संपत्ति को लूटने और हमारी संस्कृति को दूषित करने में कोई कसर नहीं छोड़ी। बाहरी विदेशी शासकों के समय जाति, धर्म, भाषा और क्षेत्र के नाम पर भेदभाव, आपसी संघर्ष और द्वेष की भावना पनपती गयी और मानवीय मूल्य दबते गए। समय के साथ हमारे राष्ट्रीय गौरव के चिंतक बलिदानी वीरों ने अपने रक्त से सिंचकर हमें परतंत्रता से मुक्ति दिलायी। स्वतंत्रता प्राप्ति के बाद भारत ने बहुत से क्षेत्रों में सुधार और विकास किया है। पिछले कुछ दशकों में विज्ञान एवं प्रौद्योगिकी, शिक्षा जैसे क्षेत्रों में सराहनीय विकास देखा गया है परंतु भौतिकतावादी इस दौर में सामाजिक सरोकारों एवं नैतिक मूल्यों का पतन हुआ है जिसके परिणामस्वरूप युवा वर्ग नशे की गिरफ्त में बढ़ता चला जा रहा है। एक ओर बलात्कार, डकैती, अपहरण एवं हत्या जैसे जघन्य अपराध होते हैं तो दूसरी ओर बेरोजगारी, महंगाई और आर्थिक असमानता की खाई भी बढ़ती गयी है। मैं अपने प्राचीन गौरवशाली भारत पर गर्व करती हूँ और चाहती हूँ कि हमें फिर से वह गौरव प्राप्त हो, जहाँ आर्थिक सम्पन्नता एवं समानता हो, रिश्तों में आत्मीयता हो। मैं ऐसे भारत का सपना देखती हूँ जहाँ जाति, पंथ, संप्रदाय, भाषा एवं क्षेत्र के आधार पर किसी तरह का भेदभाव नहीं हो एवं रोजगार के पर्याप्त अवसर उपलब्ध हो। स्त्रियों का पूर्ण सम्मान और सुरक्षा हो। हमारा भारतीय समाज संवेदनशील बना रहें, लोगों में सद्भावना हो और शोषण एवं अपराध मुक्त हो, स्वास्थ्य के उत्तम प्रबंध हो। मैं ऐसे भारत का सपना देखती हूँ जो पूर्ण विकसित और आत्मनिर्भर हो।  सभी लोग संपन्न और खुशहाल जीवन जी सकें। जय हिन्द।

सावन का महीना

वर्षा ऋतु आनन्द एवं उमंग की ऋतु होती है। यह समृद्धि की ओर भी संकेत करती है। भारतीय काल-गणना और ग्रहों-नक्षत्रों की अवस्थिति के अनुसार श्रवण नक्षत्र में चंद्रमा के संक्रमण काल का समय सावन का महीना कहा जाता है। यह महीना अंग्रेजी कैलेंडर के अनुसार जुलाई-अगस्त के महीने में आता है। सांस्कृतिक मान्यताओं के अनुसार श्रवण नक्षत्र वाली (श्रावणी) पूर्णिमा बहुत शुभ एवं मंगलकारी मानी जाती है। सावन में सोमवार और पूर्णिमा को लोग व्रत-उपवास रखकर शिवालयों में जाकर भगवान शिव के दर्शन और पूजा-आराधना करते है और वरदान मांगते हैं। सावन के महीने में हल्की-हल्की फुहारों के रूप नियमित रूप से अच्छी वर्षा होती रहती है। खेतों में फसले लहलहाने लगती है। यह महीना किसानों का प्रिय महीना होता है। चारों ओर हरियाली छा जाती है और वातावरण बहुत मनमोहक बन जाता है। सारी धरती स्वर्ग-सी लगती हैं। इस महीने में सबसे अधिक त्योहार आते हैं और कईं स्थानों पर मेले भरते हैं। लोग कईं तीर्थो के दर्शन करने एवं पर्यंटन स्थलों पर घूमने जाते है।  इन त्योहारों एवं मेलों का हमारे लिए बहुत महत्त्व होता है। ये हमारी समृद्धि और खुशहाली के प्रतीक होते है।

Exams

Exams are a thing that we all have mixed emotions about. Those sleepless nights studying and the endless tension till we get our question paper. That tense feeling we get when we solve the whole paper but that one question that we don’t know the answer to now taunts and irritates us. Even after the exams, discussing with your friends about the paper and then someone tells you that your one answer was wrong. Even after several years when taking an exam, we still get these same feelings. The joy and sorrow we experience when getting our results are still the same. We should realize that exams are training us for real-life challenges that await us and believe me those challenges will be far more difficult than exams. So let’s first face these small challenges to brace for the impact of bigger ones.

Simple act of Kindness

Pain, suffering, poverty, disease, anguish, and many other forms of negativity are unfortunate aspects of our lives that are as necessary as they are regrettable. If we couldn’t feel pain, we wouldn’t know how to appreciate all our blessings. Without suffering, we could never truly understand what bliss is. Without disease and anguish, we would never be motivated to seek answers and cures to prevent others from experiencing a similar fate. Pain in the world is often unappreciated. Suffering and its kind are generally viewed as negative, but without them, there would be no heroes, no acts of charity for the needy, and no one could feel compassion for the ill. I believe that witnessing people suffering allows us the opportunity to exercise charity. In this world, charity is one of the greatest gifts that pain can offer. Anyone who has ever helped someone in need knows the feeling I speak of – the look in someone’s eyes when you extend a helping hand, provide a meal, a warm coat, or a few dollars makes it absolutely worthwhile. The simple act of kindness that brings relief to someone else from their pain is one of the greatest gifts pain can bestow.

Artificial Intelligence

AI is something that has enormous potential. Slowly, it is becoming a part of our daily lives. For many people, this might seem scary because although it has many use cases it still has some drawbacks. It will be a big part of our future. The evolution of AI also raises questions about consciousness and the definition of intelligence. Will machines achieve self-awareness? Debates on AI's potential to replicate human-like understanding remain ongoing. While its realization is uncertain, it fuels discussions about control and safeguards. Striking a balance between innovation and responsible deployment is imperative. Collaboration between scientists, policymakers, and ethicists will shape AI's trajectory. Ethical dilemmas, like AI's role in decision-making and potential job displacement, demand careful consideration. In conclusion, AI's future is based on its potential to redefine how we live, work, and interact. Yet, careful navigation is essential to harness its benefits while minimizing risks. The ethical and societal dimensions will determine whether AI becomes a force for unprecedented progress or a source of unforeseen challenges.

Interview of Anshuman Singh (Class XI)

(Reporters/RP - Jaya Bawal class XII and Ridhima Ojha class XII)

RP- What inspires you?

AS-Well! There are lots of things that inspire me but if I were to point out one then it would be my peers, seeing them work hard also inspires me to do the same. 

RP-Why did you choose The Fabindia School?

AS-The school’s focus on both academics and extracurricular activities really made me come here.

In today’s time, students need to learn real-life skills and see how things work and our school is one of the first to implement this. The school’s unique architecture also fascinated me and made me more curious about the school.

RP-What was your experience when you joined the school?

AS-Although at first, I was a bit anxious but the friendliness of the students and teachers really made me fit in quickly. The only regret I had was why I didn't come sooner. In just a few days, I joined the editorial board and started to write articles and this really helped me to improve my writing and made me more confident. I also started to give speeches in the morning assembly, my goal for this is to inspire others to also speak in public.

RP-What unique things did you see about the school that you didn’t see anywhere?

AS-The school’s unique approach to education is certainly unparalleled. I saw that the relationship between the students and teachers is something that cannot be found anywhere. 

RP-Who would you call your favourite so far?

AS- Our principal ma'am is so far my favourite in the school. She was also one of the reasons I came here. She is the wizard who puts this abstract magic into a beautiful symmetry called our school. In one of my speeches, I called her a symbol of women's empowerment in Greek.

RP-What is your ambition?

AS-I want to become an entrepreneur. After that, I want to ensure that children in marginalized countries get the necessary education to escape poverty. For my higher studies, I want to go to one of the Ivy League colleges and study Computer Science. I want to make India, the next global power.

RP- Why did you learn to dance?

NM- Dance is my passion, and I can't live without it. When I was a child, I liked to dance. I used to watch a TV show that inspired me.

RP- What is your favorite dance form, and why do you like it?

NM- My favourite dance form is classical dance because of the facial expressions and hand movements.

RP- What age did you start dancing?

NM- I started learning dance when I was in Class 12th, when I was 17, and I've been learning for 3 years now.

RP- Did you face any hardships when you first came to the school?

NM- No, because the school's environment is really nice, and the students are also polite towards me. The teachers and principal ma'am are also good.

RP- What do you like the most about the school?

NM- The one thing which I like the most about the school is that it has trees, plants, and a lovely environment. The second thing is that the school organizes many activities and skill-building.

Info of the week

As Independence Day is commencing students are preparing themselves to represent the school’s dance and parade at High Secondary School. Our school is organizing trips for the Senior Section, there are two options either in Rajasthan or out of Rajasthan. Students seem to be really excited and energetic to raise our school’s pride one more time.
