July 25th, Thursday was observed as Cultural Day during Education Week. On that day, students in the Pre-Primary Section participated in a dance program and performed a skit about good manners and helping others during the assembly.
A vibrant and colorful cultural program marked the fourth day of the Shiksha Saptha celebration at The Fab India School. The event showcased the students' incredible talent and cultural heritage, captivating the audience with their performances.
Highlights of the Program:
Ghoomar Song Performance:
The day began with a mesmerizing rendition of the traditional Rajasthani Folk Song "Ghoomar." The students' soulful singing brought out the essence and beauty of this cultural gem, leaving the audience spellbound. Their harmonious voices and dedication to preserving their heritage were evident in every note.
Dance on "Rangilo Maro Dholna":
Following the singing performance, the students presented a lively and energetic sanction of the popular Rajasthani song "Rangilo Maro Dholna." Dressed in vibrant traditional attire, the dancers showcased their graceful movements and impeccable synchronization. The performance was a visual treat, reflecting the rich cultural traditions of Rajasthan.
The cultural program on Day 4 of Shiksha Saptha not only highlighted the students' artistic talents but also emphasized the importance of cultural heritage in education.
A vibrant puppet show was organized on the fourth day of Shiksha Saptah to emphasize the significance of education in our lives. The show aimed to engage and educate students through creative storytelling and visual effects using puppets. It highlighted the power of education, communicating the message that education opens doors to opportunities and empowers individuals.

On July 26th, Friday Skill Development Day was celebrated at the school. Paper Bag Making Activity was conducted in the Pre-Primary Section, where students, with guidance from their teachers, enthusiastically participated and created paper bags.
On the Fifth Day of the Shiksha Shapath Skill Development celebration at school, an engaging activity was organized for the children. Paper Bag Making Activity allowed students to unleash their creativity and develop their fine motor skills. With the guidance of their teachers, the children enthusiastically participated in the activity, learning to fold, cut, and glue paper to create their own reusable bags. This hands-on experience not only fostered their problem-solving skills and hand-eye coordination but also instilled a sense of pride and ownership in their creations. The activity was a resounding success, providing a fun and interactive platform for the children to develop essential skills while promoting creativity and self-expression.
 Training on Sustainable Development Goals
On 27th July 2024, a workshop was conducted for teachers teaching from the Pre-Primary to the Middle Section. The workshop, led by Anit Gupta Sir and Ritu Malhotra Ma'am, focused on the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and the integration of the book "Be the Change" into various subjects.
The workshop began with a comprehensive session on the SDGs, presented by Anit Gupta and Ritu Malhotra. They emphasized the importance of these goals and their relevance in the current global context. To evoke feelings and raise awareness regarding environmental issues, video clips were shown, highlighting the pressing environmental problems the world faces today.
Following this, the content of the book "Be the Change" was introduced. The facilitators discussed how the stories and lessons from the book can be integrated into different subjects to inspire students and bring about positive change. Practical examples and strategies were shared, enabling teachers to incorporate these ideas into their teaching methods effectively.
The workshop was truly an enlightening experience, successfully raising awareness among the teachers and equipping them with tools to integrate SDG goals and the inspiring content of "Be the Change" into their curricula. We are really looking forward to carrying this out and bringing a change to the planet.
