 Poem

Mother Doesn't Want a Dog
Mother doesn't want a dog.
Mother says they smell,
And never sit when you say sit,
Or even when you yell.
And when you come home late at night
And there is ice and snow,
You have to go back out because
The dumb dog has to go.
Mother doesn't want a dog.
Mother says they shed,
And always let the strangers in
And bark at friends instead.
And do disgraceful things on rugs,
And track mud on the floor,
And flop upon your bed at night
And snore their doggy snore.
Mother doesn't want a dog.
She's making a mistake…
Because, more than a dog, I think,
She will not want this snake!

Interview with Manish Bissa (Academic Senior Coordinator & HOD of Mathematics)
Reporters: Mohita Solanki and Vijeta Solanki
RP: What teaching methods do you find most effective for engaging students and promoting learning in mathematics?
MBA: I find that using real-life examples, case-based studies, interactive activities, and competency-based questions are the most effective ways to teach mathematics. Mathematics is a subject that can be enjoyed while studying.
RP: What strategies do you use to design a curriculum that is engaging, relevant, and challenging for students?
MBA: In designing my curriculum, I focus not only on introducing new mathematical concepts but also on ensuring that students can apply these concepts to real-life situations. I firmly believe that case studies and competency-based questions present valuable challenges for students, so I ensure that I incorporate them into my planning.
RP: In your experience, how has The Fabindia School contributed to the personal and professional growth of its students?
MBA: The Fabindia School prepares children to face challenges not just academically but also in various other areas. I have witnessed a wide range of talents among the students, and the school plays a key role in nurturing these qualities further. I have observed students displaying qualities such as leadership and sportsmanship, and The Fabindia School supports their growth in these areas.
RP: Would you like to give any suggestions to students?
MBA: My advice to all Fabindians is to stay curious and open to new learning, embrace their responsibilities, and maintain discipline to achieve new milestones of success.
